One of the most important abilities any of us has is the ability to imagine, visualize, and dream.
We each literally make stuff up, every day of our lives.
We think of new things, see images in our minds eye, and visualize, without even being conscious of it a lot of the time.
Someone tells us a story, and we imagine it. Someone describes an event, and we can see it, even if we weren’t there. We hear the news and imagine all kinds of things. We have always done this, our whole lives.
Sometimes this ability is fun and pleasant - if we use it for creative pursuits, to find a solution to a question or problem, or to generate a new idea or image. If you feed your imagination with interesting images, stories, sounds, and ideas, it will work differently for you than if you’re bored, cynical, or think you already know all the answers.
Creatives of all kinds are working their imaginations a lot, so are healers, inventors, and people who want to create new ways of communication, interaction, and being able to connect with so many other kinds of people.
The demand that is intensively taking a lot of energy from the imagination, is the demand to solve money and survival. If you’re having a tough time finding the enthusiasm or energy to create something new, there may be energy getting in the way. Representation matters, a lot. If you see that there are others who look like you or have similar traits to you, then you can imagine yourself in those roles too.
“The exercise of imagination is dangerous to those who profit from the way things are because it has the power to show that the way things are is not permanent, not universal, not necessary." - Ursula K. LeGuin
New this week: The Weekly Energy Report
I’m making videos now, y’all! Here’s a short video I made about the energy I’m noticing this week.
A class for your Imagination: The Foundation Class
Wednesdays starting September 6th at 11:00am PT for four weeks, with Kris Cahill online at the Art of the Seer Academy*.
Meditation is a creative skill and a powerful ally for your imagination!
This four week experience will teach you practical meditation and conscious embodiment tools you can incorporate into your existing practice - or use to begin one for yourself. We often hear that this style of meditation is more fun and easier for "people who have trouble meditating".
In addition to meditation tools, we're teaching about how you're already psychic and using your spiritual abilities all the time in your life. When you become conscious to how being psychic works, you can start to enjoy it and make it a validating part of your life experience.
Read more and sign up for this online class.
* This class is happening monthly through the Art of the Seer Academy, in person and online, at different days and times.
I was featured on The Bright Side Podcast this week!
Ben Fuchs, the host of The Bright Side Podcast, invited me to be a guest on his podcast this past week. You can hear my interview come in about halfway through this episode., where I talk about being psychic, working with energy tools consciously.

Inspiration for your imagination
Good bye and thank you to Paul Rubens, creator of Pee-wee’s Playhouse.
I don’t know about you, but when I first saw PeeWee’s Playhouse way back when, I was in so much awe of the fun and permission that Paul Rubens brought to us all with the gift of his imagination.
