Letting the rocks fall by the wayside
Notes on learning how to surrender and let go of control in the 21st Century.
I’ve been digging into some juicy energies this past week.
To be clear, by ‘juicy’, I don’t necessarily mean ‘delicious’.
Not your typical summer yum fare here, this woman’s digging into some of the heavies. There’s a persistent if irritating at times part of my spirit that wants me to see myself through this time of growth with these concepts and energies without concern for how palatable or pleasant I find some of them. Maybe you do this too at times.
For me personally, there’s always a theme, something is coming up to acknowledge that I must deal with. Everything starts with energy, and all the stuff happening around us is affected by all these deep things we are working on within.
So here’s what’s been coming up for me: Trust - Surrender - Fear - Control - and my favorite of the bunch: Imagination.
What’s been helping me with this deep dive?
First of all, my amazing husband just painted my office Razzle Dazzle Pink! The art studio half of my workroom is a nice clean white so I can paint without other strong colors taking over. I am thrilled, this entire room was a dull pale gray before and very uninspiring.
A brilliant hot pink wall does wonders to help me have more trust. Color is definitely energy, and one of my power healing colors is this pink.
But back to the work at hand. I’m sharing a new post and podcast in this newsletter focused on the Surrender part of things.
Imagination is one of my favorite topics these days. There’s such a big direct connection between having your psychic abilities on and working for you, and your ability to own your imagination. Imagination is so important because what we imagine we can become, manifest, or fear.
As for Fear, I did a deep dive into looking at some of my more unconscious fears, because did I also mention I’m working on having more Trust? Which funnily enough also means letting go of Control. Oh dear, it’s messy.
But then I remembered this brilliance from ‘Dune’ by Frank Herbert:
“I must not fear. Fear is the mind killer. Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration. I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over me and through me. And when it has gone past, I will turn the inner eye to see its path. Where the fear has gone, there will be nothing. Only I will remain.”
So beautiful and healing!

Inspiration for Surrender, Trust, and Imagination
This book: The Magic of Thinking Big
It was originally published the year after I was born, so the language is a bit out of date. However, the energy and concepts in it are timeless. As a clairvoyant, I add “And Seeing Big” to the title for myself. Super healing for clearing out old small thinking unconsciousness. Find a copy
My job as a Psychic Teacher at the Art of the Seer Academy is one of the most inspiring things in my life.
I’m getting ready to welcome students back from our summer break in a few weeks. A brand new clairvoyant training is beginning, along with our other trainings and classes. Learn more about studying with us: Art of the Seer Academy.
My new art studio is totally inspiring me!
