Hello there!
I’m here to announce changes, good ones!
First of all, I’ve moved my newsletter to Substack. You are receiving this from my new Substack account because you were already subscribed to my newsletter from my website, KrisCahill.com, or you gave me permission to add you to my list. You are already here as a free subscriber.
Substack is a lot of fun to be part of, as there are lots of options to play with here - a chat option (coming soon on my page), a built in podcast (listen to mine here), and of course, writing. There’s also a lot of other folks featuring their writing and words on Substack. I’m excited to be here, and I hope you like it.
This is a weekly newsletter, featuring the latest news, specials for my subscribers only, and my latest classes and reading specials. You can also visit my website to read about my readings and healings, and schedule a session with me.
If you’d rather not receive news from me anymore, no hard feelings. You can unsubscribe at any time. But I hope you stay!
What else is new over here?
Well, it’s my birthday month, so I’m feeling rather inspired, because I really enjoy my birthday. It’s right at the Thanksgiving holiday (this year the day after), and always feels very celebratory. Also, very happily, the cast that covered my lower right arm since mid October (big ouch) (and yes I am right handed) came off last Friday, and I am very grateful to be able to cook again, and once more have an opposable thumb on my right hand. Note to self, watch where I’m walking and no more fractures, okay?
Here’s this week’s featured article, ‘Notes on reading books and people’.
Notes on reading books and people
I grew up an enthusiastic reader, and spent many happy hours with my nose in a book.
I’m grateful to have had parents who encouraged my love of reading, and had it for themselves too. Our house was a home filled with books and permission to create. From the beginning, reading books sparked my curiosity and sense of wonder, as well as my creativity.
As a child, reading was my refuge, an escape, adventure, and a way to learn about the world I couldn’t see in person yet. The characters in my favorite books became my friends, and through reading these stories, I found parts of myself that weren’t necessarily validated or welcomed in my everyday life. I felt seen when I read these stories, and reading them helped me imagine how I could live my life. Read the rest…

I’ve recorded some short and sweet descriptions of my clairvoyant readings and healings.
Here’s one I made to describe what happens in a Career and Work Reading:
